PUBLIC HEARING

Municipal Plan Amendment No. 11, 2020, and
Development Regulations Amendment No. 16, 2020

The Town of Clarenville has adopted Municipal Plan Amendment No. 11, 2020, and Development Regulations Amendment No. 16, 2020.

A Public Hearing to consider objections and representations on the above noted Amendments has been scheduled to be held at 7:30 p.m. on November 18th, 2020, at the Fire Hall, Clarenville.

Municipal Plan Amendment No. 11, 2020, will change an area of land from Commercial to Mixed Use and Industrial to Mixed Use. Development Regulations Amendment No. 16, 2020, Commercial General (CG) to Mixed Use (MU) and Industrial Light (IL) to Mixed Use (MU). The amendments are required to allow for a seniors development complex.

Anyone wishing to make an objection or representation at the Public Hearing shall deposit with the Town of Clarenville, two copies of a signed written statement outlining the objection or representation by 4:00 p.m. on November 16th, 2020. If no written objection or representation with respect to the Town of Clarenville Municipal Plan Amendment No. 11, 2020, and Development Regulations Amendment No. 16, 2020, are received within the time indicated the Public Hearing may be cancelled.

Council encourages residents to view the Town of Clarenville Municipal Plan Amendment No. 11, 2020, and Development Regulations Amendment No. 16, 2020, documents and maps which shall be on display during normal business hours at the Town Office, Clarenville.
