Clarenville Days
Date: Third Week in July

Come join us for fun for the whole family during our Clarenville Days Celebrations in July; recognize and celebrate everything Clarenville!
Our Clarenville Days Celebrations has been a long tradition and offers a folk festival, pancake breakfast, fish & brewis, community barbeque, kiddies bike parade, pet show, Clarenville Idol, fireworks, boat parade, a dance at the Stadium, games of chance and fun, fun, fun! A full schedule of events will be posted on the town’s website and Facebook page about 2 weeks before the start of Clarenville Days. Canada Day
Date: July 1
Location: War Memorial, Elizabeth Swan Park
The Town of Clarenville offers many FREE activities for families to participate in as they Celebrate Canada’s Birthday.
The day begins at 11:30am at the War Memorial on Pleasant St. with flag raising and wreath laying ceremonies in honour of the sacrifices of our Newfoundland soldiers at Beaumount Hamel.
The celebration will include a free BBQ, bouncy castles, and free face painting, dunk tank, Mr. Balloon Man, slip n’ slide, Canada Day cake and much more. All-day entertainment will take place at the bandstand at Elizabeth Swan Park beginning at 1:30 p.m. The day ends with a fireworks display at Dusk at Elizabeth Swan Park.
In the event of inclement weather all activities will take place at the Eastlink Events Centre.

Winter Carnival (Wintertainment)
Date: Second Week in February
Location: White Hills Resort, Eastlink Events Centre, Various Locations.
The annual Winter Carnival give us a chance to enjoy the fun and excitement that winter has to offer to people of all ages. Get involved and enjoy social and recreation activities during the winter season at several different venues around the Town. The week-long carnival includes exciting events like the dummy downhill, family day at the lake, seniors time, glow skating, paint night, snowshoe and much more. There is something for everyone.

Lions Santa Claus Parade
The Annual Lions Santa Clause Parade is usually held on the first weekend of December. The parade begins at 10am from Cormack Drive then proceeds along Memorial Drive to the end of the Shoal Harbour Causeway.
The Clarenville Lions encourages businesses, organizations and individuals participate and enter a float in the parade. If you would like to enter a float, decorated vehicle etc. or if you have any questions or suggestions, please contact one of the following Lions members: Brian Felker @433-2527 or Jennifer Smith @427-7896.
Motorists are reminded that on the day of the parade, traffic will be diverted from the parade route. Members of the Triple Bay Eagles Ground Search and Rescue team will assist with traffic control.
