What are we doing?
Upgrading the road structure on Huntley Drive (starting at Sheppard Place), Glenview Estates and Mattco Crescent. Road upgrade work includes rock backfill, Class “A”, Class “B”, curb and gutter, sidewalk and asphalt surface.
Note: As part of the infrastructure upgrades, a new Storm Sewer System will be installed. In addition, a 100 mm diameter storm sewer lateral will be supplied to the property boundary for each residence except for homes with drainage directed away from roadway with topography which does not allow for a connection. If an existing house drain is visible, the Town will connect it. IF A RESIDENT HAS MULTIPLE STORM SEWER SERVICES THE HOMEOWNER IS ASKED TO NOTIFY ROD BUTLER, WHO WILL BE ON SITE, OR RICK WELLS, TO ENSURE ALL SERVICES GET CONNECTED TO THE MAIN LINE.
Why?
To provide the residents with a new stormwater drainage system and replace the existing road infrastructure.
When?
We expect to start work on or about July 15th, 2024. The first week will mostly be preparation, i.e.: mobilization materials and equipment and asphalt removal.
Who can you call?
Working Hours
Our contractor’s normal working hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Town of Clarenville will let you know if there are any major changes to the plans.
