Town of Clarenville, in partnership with the Sustainable Tourism Working Group, launches a new Clarenville and Area Sustainable Tourism Plan.
After nearly 15 months of consultation with industry stakeholders and through guidance and advice from the STEP Working Group, the new Plan was completed in July, 2023.
The new Sustainable Tourism Enhancement Plan focuses on implementing five key priority areas which will help the tourism industry grow, market tourism assets and amenities in Clarenville and adjacent communities, build capacity and measure progress. The plan and appendices are available to view below.
The next phase will focus on implementing the Plan through the establishment of a Sustainable Tourism Action Committee (STAC).
