The location of an emergency shelter would depend on the type and location of the emergency. In the event of a Town emergency the Town Hall would notify residents where the emergency shelter is located.
The Bill Davis Chalet located at Elizabeth Swan Park is the designated warm-up shelter in the event of an extended power outage. The Chalet is fully equipment with emergency power, kitchen equipment and supplies in the event a warm up shelter is required.
The Town’s Emergency Operations Centre is located at the Fire Hall.
