Employment Opportunity: Box Office Attendant / Utility Worker

The Town of Clarenville is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join the Parks & Recreation Department as a Box Office Attendant / Utility Worker. This temporary part-time casual position supports the operations of the Clarenville Events Centre through box office services, facility bookings, special event coordination, and facility support.

Position Details

  • 16–24 hours per week or more as required
  • No guarantee of minimum hours
  • Evening and weekend work required
  • Rate of Pay: To be determined

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate ticketing software and process ticket sales
  • Assist with promotional and marketing materials
  • Support maintenance of social media and websites
  • Handle cash, deposits and daily reconciliations
  • Administer facility bookings and rentals
  • Provide support during special events
  • Perform janitorial duties as required

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Office Administration or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized systems.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • Recent Certificate of Conduct and medical certificate.
  • Ability to be bonded.
