The Town of Clarenville is pleased to announce the winners of the 2025 Community Art Procurement Program. This year’s competition attracted 18 submissions which is a 100% increase over the 2024 program.
During the Awards Ceremony on May 7 at The Gallery, the Town announced the 1st , 2nd and 3rd Place winners for the Voter’s Choice Award and the Judge’s Panel Awards. The results are:
- Voter’s Choice Award: 1st Place goes to Reflections by Rusty Drove, 2nd Place is Another Round by Jordi Pelley-Santo and the 3rd Place winner is Nature’s Mosaic by Una Healey.
- Judge’s Panel Award: 1st Place goes to White Hills by Michelle Dooley-Kirby; 2nd Place winner is Go ‘Bous Go by Bonnie Goodyear, and the 3rd Place winner is Strong’s Point by Rowena Avery.
A special thank you is extended to the judges David Harris, Kaeleigh Fitzgerald and Tania Murray. In addition, the Town expresses its gratitude to April Mills for assisting in designing the on-line content for the voter’s choice selection process. Finally, thank you to Deputy Mayor Paul Tilley for videotaping the Awards Ceremony and Shawn Taylor Photography for capturing some of the photos of the winners and their artwork submissions.
