Unfortunately, additional water main repairs are required to fix the leak at the Lower Shoal Harbour River bridge. The Town’s intention is to isolate the section of watermain tonight at midnight, to minimize the inconvenience (or sooner, if the situation deteriorates). Please note the road will be closed to traffic again. Also, in preparation, residents should store some water in their bathtubs.
NOTE: A boil order advisory will remain in place for residents south of the bridge until further notice.
Areas affected:
- High Birchy (including all side streets)
- Tilley’s Road (including all side streets)
- Cormack Drive (including all side streets)
- Viking Place (including all side streets)
- Along TCH.
A further update will be posted when the boil order is lifted by an Environmental Health Officer.
