What are we doing?
Replacing underground infrastructure on Random Crescent and upgrading the road structure with rock, Class “A”, Class “B”, sidewalk, curb and gutter and asphalt surface.
Note: A 100 mm diameter storm sewer service will be supplied to each residence with exception to homes with drainage directed away from roadway with topography which don’t allow connection. If an existing house drain is visible, it will be connected by the Town. If not, each residence is required to connect to the supplied storm sewer service within 6 months of the end of the contract. Alternatively, each residence may also request the contractor on site for a price to do the same. Lastly, the existing water and sewer services will be replaced and reconnected at property line.
To provide the residents with a new stormwater drainage system and replace the existing deteriorating water, sewer and road infrastructure.
We expect to start work on or about April 26, 2021. The first week will mostly be preparation, ie: asphalt removal, temporary water service. Residents are advised that GerGar and Meridian Engineering workers will be on-site making temporary water connections and will need to go on private property. We expect roadwork and trenching to start May 3, 2021. RESIDENTS TO BE AWARE OF BOIL WATER ADVISORIES.
Who can you call?
