TENDER for Clarenville Town Hall Renovation and Extension
99 Pleasant Street, Clarenville, NL

Tenders are invited from General Contractors for the above referenced project and will be received up to 2pm, Newfoundland Time, Monday, June 15th, 2020 at the Offices of Fougere Menchenton Architecture Inc., 172 Logy Bay Road, St. John’s, NL A1A 5B2.

Work required of this Contract is comprised of, but not limited to, construction of a two-storey extension (approx. 114sm.) and complete renovation of the existing two levels of the former Clarenville Fire Hall, (approx. 832sm). The combined extension/renovation is approximately 946sm. consisting of a new elevator, a main lobby, council chambers, a boardroom, an interview room, a lunch room, several offices, washrooms and storage spaces as indicated on the drawings. The work also includes all associated Structural, Mechanical and Electrical requirements.

Tenders must be made out on the Tender Form provided and must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: Clarenville Town Hall Renovation and Extension, 99 Pleasant St., Clarenville, NL.

Tenders are to be accompanied by a tender deposit in the form of an acceptable bid bond, payable to the Town of Clarenville, for the sum of at least 10% of the tendered amount.

The owner reserves the right not to accept or award the tender to the lowest or any bidder.
