Notice is hereby given that the Town of Clarenville has received a proposal for six (6) adult living triplex units (row house/row dwelling as defined in the regulations) in the area of Spruceland Drive. This type of application is currently identified as a permitted use in the Residential Medium Density Zone in the Town of Clarenville Development Regulations (2022-2032). However, Council has motioned to amend the current Development Regulations 2022-2032 to reallocate row dwellings from a permitted use to a discretionary use within the Residential Medium Density Zone. Given this process will take up to 3-4 months, the application will be processed as a discretionary use, which assumes the aforementioned amendment motion(s) will be approved.
This notice is delivered to all persons whose land is in the immediate vicinity of the proposed development that is considered a discretionary use in the use zone, and to allow a minimum of 7 days for response.
