COVID-19 ALERT LEVEL 5 Update

February 13, 2021

The Town of Clarenville is committed to the safety of the public and its employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Effective immediately the Town will focus on “Essential Services” only. All non-essential services will be suspended indefinitely.

Essential Services include:

  • Provide clean, safe drinking water
  • Maintaining water and sewer infrastructure
  • Snow and Ice control
  • Road Maintenance
  • Fire Protection
  • Garbage Collection

All Public Town facilities are closed until further notice. All recreation facilities are closed with the exception of the nature walking trails. Residents are reminded to follow directional and safety signage on all trails.

The Town Depot and Water Treatment Plant is restricted to staff only.

Town Hall is closed to public access. Staff will be available to answer your calls and to process requests electronically. Bill Payments can still be processed via mail, or electronically. For more information, please call 466-7937.
