On Friday, June 10th, the Salvation Army held a ceremony at what will be their new home in Clarenville. This event was made possible because of a generous donation of the building and two acres of land by Clarenville businessman, Kevin King and the King group of companies. Speaking on behalf of the Town, Mayor Russell congratulated the Salvation Army on their magnificent new home as well as for their incredible presence over the course of their 127 years of service here in Clarenville. The Mayor also expressed the Town’s gratitude to Kevin King for his monumental donation and the sharing of his success and generosity with the Salvation Army.
