Community gardens are an important fixture in our community. They increase food self-sufficiency and access to fresh, local food. They also create an appreciation for agriculture and contribute to a sense of community.
We are beyond excited to announce that the Clarenville Community Gardens at the Age Friendly Park will Open for the 2020 gardening season on June 1st, 2020.
Due to the uncertainties surrounding COVID-19, we have developed a new welcome kit to give you an idea of how the garden program will operate this summer. All users are asked to strictly adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Welcome Kit to maintain physical distancing.
